First-Year Students
Eligible Program:
Next Generation Service Corps (NGSC)
Incoming first-year students are eligible to apply to the Next Generation Service Corps (NGSC), a cohort-based leadership development program focused on public service, civic engagement, and community impact.
First-year NGSC students participate in retreats, Mission Teams, internships, and leadership development programming, with the opportunity to earn the Cross-Sector Leadership Certificate. Eligible students may also be considered for the Public Service Academy (PSA) Scholarship.

Transfer Students
Eligible Program:
Next Generation Service Corps (NGSC)
Students transferring to ASU from Arizona community college are eligible to apply for the Next Generation Service Corps (NGSC). This pathway is designed to support transfer students through a structured cohort experience that emphasizes leadership development, service, ad belonging.
Transfer students from out-of-state community colleges or universities are not eligible for the NGSC or AFCT.
Transfer students engage in NGSC programming alongside first-year cohorts and may be eligible for the Public Service Academy (PSA) Scholarship.

Current ASU Students
Eligible Program:
Accelerated Federal Career Track (AFCT)
Current ASU undergraduate students are eligible to apply to the Accelerated Federal Career Track (AFCT), a pathway focused on preparing students for careers in federal service.
AFCT students participate in specialized cohort programming, federal internships, graduate-level coursework, and certificates, and have the opportunity to live and learn in Washington D.C. Eligible students may be considered for the Public Service Academy (PSA) Scholarship and a Sackton Fellowship.
